Justin Janke
Bio
Justin Janke is a designer who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, HAILING from Spokane, Washington. His interest in Athletic apparel during his career as a competitive runner inspired him to switch to design at washington state university, where he found a home in the Apparel, merchandising, design, and textiles department. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in apparel design in 2020, and a master's of science in apparel, merchandising and textiles in 2023. His background and interests are in technological implementation and sustainable fashion in the fashion industry, with an affinity for exploring newer and better designs.
justin has a background in not only apparel design, but also footwear Design and 3D Printing. His thesis focused on 3d printed materials and their potential incorporation in footwear design, the material science of the current polymers available, and his own implementation of the technology with a working and sustainable prototype.
He is a former d1 NCAA track athlete, an outdoorsman at heart, an avid reader, and a superhero connoisseur.
